I have a Ph.D. in Political Science from Indiana University at Bloomington with a Ph.D. minor in Statistics. My primary area of interest is data presentation. My academic claim to fame is that an effect in the Social Sciences is named after me -- I am Rose of the "Monroe-Rose Effect". Perhaps you have heard of me. :)
Since that academic splash, I have worked in California since the Public School Accountability Act was passed in 1998. The reports we offer on this website are reports I have developed in that time. Motherhood has kept me from offering them more widely. Kindergarten and this website began in the same month. Of course, motherhood can begin at any time and we are now expecting our second as first grade begins for the first.
My vision is to provide high-value à la carte data services to school districts. The prices are so lean and mean that you will, of course, want to take advantage of them early and often. You will want to refer your friends and colleagues as well.
When I am not creating your data reports, I am a food policy advocate. I have an interest in the link between food and cognition and spend a great deal of time reading food science literature to learn about how to increase my intake of Omega 3 fatty acids and B vitamins. My interest comes from my own struggle with postpartum depression, one rooted in nutritional deficits. The interesting thing is that as I have addressed those deficits, not only has my mental health improved, so has my mental clarity. I am now putting that improved brain power to work for your district in these data reports. Your purchase of the data reports also allows me to continue my advocacy. Thank you for your support.
